I'm trying to integrate Umbraco with another system and for that I want to have a client/sdk to connect with Umbraco. Microsoft announced Kiota on .Net conf so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to give it a try. It's giving me some trouble though. Have anyone else done this? Let me know. PS. If you are on Windows, you can use windows+shift+s or the print-screen key on the keyboard to capture a screenshot which you can then paste here. That type of image will be much more readable than a photograph of the screen.

Hello i'm trying to upload webp images from media picker but umbraco does not see webp format as an image format instead it sees as a normal file how can i change that?

Is it possible to change the icon color of a document programatically based on a property? Anyone have recommend settings they use for uSync? We've multiple developers working on doctypes which all need to be deployed. We're finding issues and not sure best how to handle them. I.e You run an import, and yet it still reports that there are things to import? or you run an import.. and it still shows that there are items to import, re-running the import then fails with duplicate key issues.. etc.

Does anybody know (or know how to figure out) how the Backoffice's search tool performs a search (e.g. on the Settings > Examine Management tab, you can perform a search in the index and get some good, expected results)? When using

publishedContentQuery.Search()

for the same query, we're not getting the same results - just wondering if the Backoffice query gets "translated" into some kind of "search lingo" that would be possible to replicate when searching on the frontend side?

Hi I need to supply a couple of websites with a few different changes on each version of the site and possibly Uber different environments. After some research I think I can achieve this with docker. Has anyone done something like this or similar or managed to get Umbraco 13 working with docker? If so is this the right use case and can anyone give some starting tips on this to get started with this? I need to use a SQL database if that makes any difference? If this sounds vague please ask questions so I can explain better where it is not clear. Thank you in advance

Probably missing something obvious - I've been through the documentation https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/v/10.latest-lts/fundamentals/setup/server-setup/load-balancing/azure-web-apps I've made the necessary changes to app settings, added a class to set the server role, configured my logs to go to an Azure table. I think I'm ready to release and setup on Azure and test load balancing. The missing piece of my knowledge is - do I need to put an Azure Load Balancer (public) in front of the two(+) web apps (one a scheduled publisher master, the other subscribers). From what I can see the Umbraco documentation just references the Azure docs here so I guess I follow best practice there? If anyone has any pointers they'd be greatly appreciated. As is usual with Azure, I am faced with lots of unfamiliar options (Routing preference MS network or Internet?). Regional or global etc etc?! Is there a handy guide anywhere to help me through these woods?

I am starting project in Umbraco 13 and wanted to use blocklist. Any suggestions what’s easy to use and expendable in future. Need to create responsive site which content user needs to manage so how can I use blocklist? Any video series or blogs would be helpful to get started. TIA
