Looks lovely mate. I think you could consider another option. How about a new tree root node in the content section for uSync content related tasks/stuff for all this day to day management stuff ? Then for the people who love to change things up, they could use a IComposer to then remove it from the Content Section tree collecton and move it to another section or add it to a dashboard to Content instead ?!
