i have experience with umbraco but i dont know how i can compete with other developers who has higher experience than me and with lower price
d
I don't think many people care as long as you have time. You might have to take a reduced rate on your first few jobs, but as long as you're prepared to commit to a job then your CV is probably all the creds that you need.
I would suggest contacting a load of bigger Umbraco agencies and see if they need a hand with their projects. They will have some confidence in having other devs who can verify your work is up to scratch and they are good names to then have on your CV.

the issue there's a lot of developers in fiver or upwork how can i make the customer choose me
d
Finding clients outside of Umbraco agencies is harder work. Quite possible, but maybe start easy.
Are you a certified Umbraco developer?
a
no i took courses on udemey
and i built more than 5 projects
d
No decent agency uses Fiverr or Upwork IMHO. It's too risky because the quality isn't reliably high enough. Well you 5 projects may be enough to swing a role. It's hard to find labour at a cheap rate. If you can let people review your work then you might find people prepared to go just by that. Otherwise taking the certification will work, but expensive.
I would defo look at the list of Umbraco partners on the website and try to contact them. If you point out that your rate is cheap while you build your client base, but they can review your work, then someone will bite.
a
i know its very expensive and i dont have the money 🥲
d
Of course. Well you might after a few jobs 🙂
Send some well written emails if I were you.
a
do you know any umbraco agencies to contact with
d
I don't know anyone looking. Posting in #887257473336107018 is a good place to start. Otherwise hit the contact forms on each partner's website. https://umbraco.com/partners/find-a-solution-partner/

@alaaalmasri If you have built up a decent portfolio/resume/amount of experience, applying for (remote) in-house jobs could also be an option instead of doing freelancer work on Fiverr, unless that's specifically what you are looking for ofcourse

I'm pretty sure there are some middle east agencies, and they might be worth contacting as a starting point.. talk to recruiters ( local to you) and they might have some jobs
