So due to the train cancellations back to Leeds, my boss hired a car as an alternative. Rather than leaving others in a similar fiasco we also invited 3 others from Leeds too. 4+ hour car journey with some uncomfortable seats made for an interesting ride home. Regardless, we were with some pleasant company which made the time pass quite well. Despite all stress and tiredness from the journey, for some reason I couldn't sleep that evening once home, so was like a zombie for the whole of Saturday 🧟‍♂️ Much better now though!
