Was it a wet year that put you off?

No, I have done a lot of very wet and muddy Glastonbury's, it just isn't like it used to be, far too commercialised these days. I went to my first in 1981, 82 was a stinker, it rained the entire weekend 🤣

97/98 (not sure) was my first. It has changed a lot even since then. Stabbings and random violence are a thing of the past - so not all bad changes 🙂

TBH I mostly stopped because I started having to pay 🤣 the first few years I worked as a steward, then I was part of the crew for a friend's circus, then a few years as a guest of Alabama 3 so only payed to get in twice
