I love that approach. I thought about doing that myself in the past. Did you follow up with any details about the issues you faced with the surface controller or how secure it is?

I don't remember having any issues with the controller tbh, inputs were validated and sanitized where it was deemed necessary

I recently released a package that goes with Umbootsrap to do the same kind of thing with the block grid
