Happy new year all - first day back at the desk. Did we all have a good break? 🎉 🎄 What was the things you done over the holiday break that you enjoyed the most?
For me it's the cliché answer of recharging the batteries and chilling with the family. But I couldn't fully resist stepping away from some code and ended up cloning the VSCode codebase to understand and play around with the next project/hack idea.

I successfully avoided coding for the whole holiday and spent time with my family. I did listen to tech podcasts whilst doing chores though.

I enjoyed reading the Umbraco Docs, for a migration project that's going to start in April 🙂

Time away from the computer mostly. Spending time with the family and generally just staying offline. The benefits of going to the inner hebrides for a week where internet is hit or miss at best 😄
s
I had a break from Social Media and Gaming and spent time with my boyfriend who travelled to the UK from Sweden.

Besides the joys of spending time with friends & family, going away for a few days and enjoying some of the delights Belgium has to offer during the winter with my girlfriend! 🎄 🍷 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1192062113829634048/1192106486298587217/20231228_165448.jpg?ex=65a7deae&is=659569ae&hm=7526c8f0be2f380d546a0f46cd354cfdf9c0636eca0521e4f6291bc0a9ddb132&

Had a very quiet one, spent our first new year in our apartment in Spain

Sounds good everyone! Had a great time in sunny and warm Portugal for 2 full weeks, we'll definitely be back! Not a lot of craft beer, so I had to make due with a bit of Superbock. 🍻 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1192062113829634048/1192822243638657044/IMG_20231226_150110-EDIT.jpg?ex=65aa7948&is=65980448&hm=f7740c940936185f52db56f5f857446b3b6a34d9628581af4e6da2f9ef20136a&
