02/27/2024, 10:01 AMSo I was reminded today that Umbraco 8 is done. We're in the security phase now, so any new releases will only be for security issues for the next year and then it's over.
It feels like we only just released 9 though! 😅 How do you feel about v8 being done? 🧵

02/27/2024, 10:01 AMPersonally, I wouldn't want to go back to building on v8, but I know a lot of people are still in the v7 migration process. Hopefully they haven't stopped at v8.
Will there be another year of handwringing blog posts of people trying to move just in time before EOL? 😬

Multilingual & built in di-container was it's only contribution forward.
There were more tight coupling than v7.

45% of reporting sites are still running v8. 32% is on an LTS version (yay!).
