Love that we see a Beta now but as much as I want to be enthusiastic about the Beta, it feels a bit like the V7 release. If I start the site I see the UI but trying to create a member after a membergroup is created is not possible because the create button is gone. Media Upload, error. My packages depend on this functionality, hope we see a beta soon that is feature complete (what was said in January that the beta was feature complete ) and tested in the UI . Don't take this too negative since it is a great milestone but don't rush the release just to be done on may 30th(which is in 2 months) and have next to no packages....

The release notes published on Our outlines a bit of what you should expect, so definitely recommend having a read there: https://our.umbraco.com/download/releases/1400 Specifically, media and members are not done yet. It won't be feature complete before the RC in terms of UI features, but what we promise is a stable API for extensions, and if we do need to break it, we'll document it. The next beta should include media creation in the UI as well.
