Hi all, I've uploaded my site to my hosting provider but when visiting the site it shows the umbraco install screen. Connection strings are correct and the db user is the owner of the db. What else can i check?

Check the log files.

the stdout logs are there, but they are blank. are there other logs to check?

The trace log is by default in

umbraco\logs\

relative to the app root.

Doesn't need to be errors; it should tell you why it says Umbraco is not "installed" and whether it can connect to the database etc.
