I am a standard plan user and I need to send emails to users with smtp but there is no secrets management in the standard plan, is there any other way?

You can add the SMTP settings directly in the appsettings, will just be less secure

yes it's not a free service honestly, it is not very insecure to put the smtp details in the appSettings file, nobody is going to see it except for you and the Umbraco support team if they need access to the site for some reason. a lot of people just leave the smtp details in the appSettings file

yes, I leave them in appsettings, but I also control my own mail server so only specific IP addresses are allowed to authenticate anyway

yes, should be fine, someone can only get access to it if they have managed to gain access to the server somehow
