Other places to get support?

Does anyone know of other resources, paid or not, for Umbraco support. The discord is a great resource but depending on your issue it is kind of hit or miss on getting help. I do understand this is all a community and volunteers helping so I am just wondering if there might be other places to tap into as well. If they are a reasonable price paid options are fine as well.
a
Theres a umbrajobs.com site, no idea how active it is though but overall, I think discord is your best bet, maybe #887257473336107018 if you really need help with something ?
j
Umbraco has their own support department, you can buy support from them
m
I did reach out to them but They only do yearly contracts which I think is a bit overkill to get two issues solved.
I had thiught about that but feom what I have seen most people here charge by the hour/day and having no idea how long getting an issue fixed could take, excpecually as the issues are random when they decided to break, that can get very expenaive really quick for a janitor. I was hoping maybe like what MS used to do of a flat 200$/incident or maybe a different active place that might be able to help
a
Think discord is still your best bet.. And yea.. issues can get really complex involving code, so you cant just say "200 / problem"
could be 5 min, could be 5000 min, depending on complexity and problem
m
Yea and if it was my custom code i would be fine but these are two builtin cms functions that fail.
m
There is the forum - https://our.umbraco.com/
j
If it's issues within the cms then you should log it in Github in the issue tracker
m
That is just for reproducable bugs though, right?
t
There are also places like Upwork or PeoplePerHour where you may find Umbraco expert to hire.
m
But just like the jobs section here a per hour/day is not feesable to be paying to investigate non custom code issues.
t
They offer gigs also, like mine in the link below where I sold in Upwork before. You can look for others or contact me via the project message to check your issue and tell you the fixed price estimate. https://www.upwork.com/services/product/development-it-professional-responsive-tailwind-umbraco-website-1616204808111869952

If any of your issues are devops related @AaronSadlerUK at Umbhost has provided great support for us over the years.
a
As @Dean Leigh says we can offer support and SLAs at extremely reasonable prices https://umbhost.net/website-development-support/support-sla-packages
m
I am acutally not sure what "devops" really means
Interesting, did not know that flat rate projects existed there. Will look into that.
Does these apply if I am hosted at Umbraco Cloud?
Looks like the forum was upgrades since I last looked at it (like a year ago). Last time it seemed to be inactive and only had up to v9 in it. Looks like it is updated and active so I will try there too.
a
Hi @Matthew Alexandros Sure, we can help with application level support on Umbraco Cloud, and help to resolve some issues, you may still need to reach out to cloud if it's infrastructure level
m
That is good to know and will keep it in mind. I just found out one of the issues I was having is a known bug, the other I am 99% sure is cloud so I am working with them on that. I do have a 3rd problem which only happens on my local dev so when it comes time to deal with that if I need to bring in the highered guns I will contact you. Thanks everyone for the inputs and options, it is nice to see a few new ones and that an old one is now a possiblity too.
@AaronSadlerUK I sent you a PM as I am running into a major issue with Umbraco
