I’ll be watching

Curious how the talk will be and how it may or may not have impacted the 15.0.0 final release now that HybridCache is still in preview
c
@Warren Buckley fill me in on what’s happening with hybrid cache please mate?
w
Just it didn't quite make the cut suppsoedly in .NET9 release AFAIK
> HybridCache is currently still in preview but will be fully released after .NET 9.0 in a future minor release of .NET Extensions.
c
Ok. So what happens with Umbraco 15 then?
w
Yeh hence me asking the same question... curious I would imagine 15 of Umbraco depends on a prerelase of the Nuget package I am guessing
But be good to know if there is an impact or not because of MS decision to not roll out it in the release
c
Ok. @Kevin Jump do you know what they’re gonna do?
k
yeah don't know the rc4 package for hybrid cache relies on a preview package 🤔 https://www.nuget.org/packages/Umbraco.Cms.PublishedCache.HybridCache/15.0.0-rc4#dependencies-body-tab
k
😮
c
Ah well, what can you do. It’s not an LTS version of Umbraco and dotnet 9 is not LTS either. So in theory it’s all experimental
k
Copy code
xml
<PackageVersion Include="Microsoft.Extensions.Caching.Hybrid" Version="9.0.0-preview.9.24556.5" />
Well there's the answer 🙂
