Calling all Bristolian's, I'm treating the wife to a short weekend in Bristol so I can attend the Spark conference on the Friday (who says romance is dead!!), any suggestions for restaurant's for a nice meal??

Cargo has some nice casual/quirky places https://www.wappingwharf.co.uk/eat-drink-shop but I believe Tare Bistro at Cargo is a really nice tasting menu experience
I love going to Cow & Sow (multiple locations) https://thecowandsow.co.uk/ with my wife - great food/service, and you can be smart casual in a fancy but not pretentious setting
Four Wise Monkeys https://fourwisemonkeysbristol.com/ has some fantastic korean/asian small plates that pack a tasty punch! and very close to some awesome cocktail bars too: Clockwork Rose, The Raven
There are lots of nice tapas venues, although I have not tried them myself, including: Bravas, Bomba, Picaro, Poco, Under the Starts (on a boat) - and I believe Nutmeg is great for Indian food
Pasta Ripiena https://www.pastaripiena.co.uk/ does amazing, simple pasta dishes with fantastic ingredients - a very intimate venue and treat!
if you find anywhere else i haven't mentioned (or you want a specific cuisine) just let me know and i'll try and help 🙂
