Nice! I've had one of these for a couple of years, and it's such a fun emulator device for long flights - stick a podcast on your headphones, and load a bunch of roms on it, it's amazing!

ye, I was looking at the Retroid Classic that has recently come out but I could only get the 6 button version and didn't think I really wanted that. I might end up going down that route but wanted to get a cheaper version first, just in case. Ive a smaller handheld device, can't remember the name of it now, but the screen is just a bit small and I need to use a 3.5 jack for headphones. This new option is bluetooth so more likely to play it.

Yeah - the small screen is harder to use for sure, I'd love a bigger screen, but I don't play enough other than for long flights to warrant it. I was very tempted by the retroid pocket 5, but held fire for now - might pick one up one day, the form factor and size are much nicer!

Ye. My brother has the steam deck and as much as I'd love, I don't have enough to pay that sort of cash. We works shifts (week on/week off) so plays a lot when he's away from home.

I'd considered a steam deck - but I think if I'm throwing down that sort of money, I'd want to use it more often. I just don't 🙂 The problem for me is I mostly just have a laptop whenever I need anything

> I think if I'm throwing down that sort of money, I'd want to use it more often. This is the main reason I don't have one. I've been toying with the idea of a windows powered handheld that I could then also use for casual/general computing in a pinch.
