The telemetry goes to Umbraco, right? Why would you get any data back? Am I missing something? 🙂

Because I had a feeling that it was said that package developers would get access to any telemetry that their packages created e.g. number of installs.

I haven't heard anything about this, but doesn't mean you are wrong ofcourse 🙂

I think it was an ambition that package developers could get some of the numbers, but I don't think it is actually possible yet 🙂

Yeah, it was said once (I think some years ago on a code garden) but nothing has happened with it as far as I know

Yeh only HQ have those numbers. I have tried many times to ask - not sure what the blocker is from their end

Just seems odd to have the option to add telemetry to your packages but then not be able to get that data back in some way. Might need to make some enquiries.

I see no service available for that yet but possible to do like umbraco-contentment to manage that yourself.
