For UmbraDesktop, I'm experimenting with connecting remote instances to the desktop. This uses an api user. The idea is that you can manage certain things via a single desktop. This is mostly experimental and a proof of concept. So right now there is just a dashboard that displays some information in the remote instance, like the version and runtime mode. Because it uses the management API, it's not realistic to do full content management in a single instance: I would need to iFrame a remote URL for that and this just not realistically possible (not the same origin). I could potentially wire the data into the existing desktop components and that might work for simple fields like textboxes, block lists and content pickers would pick the stuff from the local instance and not the remote. And I'm not planning into writing an entire custom editor experience 😉 I also don't plan on building parts of uSync or Deploy again, so comparing content between environments....I dunno. That's hard anyway since content id's hardly even match. But the thing is: what would YOU like to do with it. So I have connected instances and I can call the management API. What would make your work easier? One idea I have, is to have a connected instances search that searches in all instances and returns the results as a single list. When clicked, you would navigate to that instance where you do the actual editing. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1443515195891646537/1550067872888524930/image.png?ex=6aacfcb3&is=6aabab33&hm=1b0d589a000e9602821e22a236a2c3481e9c870b9b630bfeb252452d61aba7bf&
