My one tip would be to find hobby projects related (or not) to the field you're interested in. Go build a website, Go try out unity or unreal engine, go make that discord bot. knowledge from your study is cool, but with hobby projects, you have some things to show off. It shows that you have passion in what you do and that you are motivated. (and it shows that you actually have a personality)
