Not really a fix, but I'm using one of those workspaces apps that merges multiple applications in one! (Franz, Rambox, Wavebox etc.). That uses the Web View version of Discord, and opens the last-opened URL on opening the app. Because of this is always opens my last-opened server & channel by default
