A friend of mine using a 1920x1080 drove me crazy - I could never work on that! Turns out Windows defaults the zoom to 125% (on some screens at least)! At 100% its more usable. However, I'm much more comfortable with my main monitor set to 3840x2160 (scaled to 125%). 2560x1440 is a very good compromise!
