I ended up twice as via the invite i ended up with a user that I had no idea what the pwd was.. so then had to register via discord properly and then join the umb channel? I've no idea how to remove the duplicate either as have no credentials to access it (and as far as I can tell it's not even linked to an email address 😦 )
