Hi mate. Please can you add the namespaces to your article?
a
@CodeSharePaul for the Middleware?
c
Either of the samples mate if possible please
a
I've updated the Middleware one, the other two bits shouldn't need any additional namespaces (other than calling the middleware class)
c
Brill thanks mate. Also I notice you talk about the startup.cs. Hasn’t that gone now from .net 6 web apps? I could be wrong but I thought it was all in the program.cs now
a
Has it? This site was upgraded from V9 and the instructions didn't say to replace / remove it 😕
c
Yeah it's been unified into program.cs It's understandable that it is still there if you do an upgrade. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/migration/50-to-60?view=aspnetcore-6.0&tabs=visual-studio#new-hosting-model
a
I've updated the example to include a vary by header to the response
c
Cheers mate, I really appreciate you writing the blog post so we as a community can benefit from your research
a
I'll take a look and see what's needed to update my site, however the example code should be useable with minimal tweaks 🙂
@CodeSharePaul I've just checked a fresh install of V10 and it still uses the startup.cs 😕
c
Ah, maybe we can feed it back. Let's start a discussion in the netcore channel on here.
n
Startup is still valid in core6, but it has been removed from the boilerplate code. Adding it has no problems.
