Yeh I was just curious if everyone knew about it already and was setting it/using it
But assumed the package giants as yourself Lee was already aware 🙂

Do you have access to the packages telemetry stats? I'd assume that'd give you a good indication of whether package devs are setting the version or not. or maybe that's why you're asking the question? 🤔

Yeh I need to talk to Lasse or Filip to see if we can push these metrics to a public site somewhere or a graph etc for more people to see
@leekelleher you collect telemetry for your packages don;t you. Would be interesting to compare what we have on your packages to see if they align

don't worry, I wasn't asking for access - more that YOU have access (internally), I can see it helping you 🙂 My telemetry data for Contentment is all open: https://leekelleher.com/umbraco/contentment/telemetry/

Yes I want to push internally to make it public and ensure what we are collecting aligns with your collection to ensure

😍
Worth adding a total count to that bottom table IMO so you can easily see how many in total you have running out in the wild, rather than adding all those values up

it's up at the top in the intro 🙂
funny thing is, how wildly different the usage stats are from the nuget downloads
like 1% of (nearly) 100k nuget downloads 😆

Ahh too tiny and too much text I missed it 🙈
Yep shows how much Nuget downloads are pointless with the use of CI builds etc
