For those asking about my Skybrud.Social packages (and other who may be interested), I've pushed a new beta release yesterday of Skybrud.Social.Instagram:

And a new beta release for Skybrud.Social.Facebook just now:

The Instagram package is very close to getting it's first stable release. I would have no concern using it for live sites despite being in beta. The beta label mostly means that I may introduce breaking changes before the stable release (which is getting less likely the now). With this package, it's still possible to get recent Instagram photos of accounts that your are in control of using either the Instagram Basic Display API the Instagram Graph API.
The Facebook package has a bit longer to a stable release, but I also wouldn't have any concerns using it for live sites. If you've tested that it works locally, it should also work on your live site. The release today is the first in almost four years, to I've spent some time updating parts of the package, while others could still need some refreshing, which I will focus on in upcoming releases.
For both packages, the biggest problem is registering an app with Facebook and getting through the review process. We tend to keep our apps in test mode, which makes it somewhat easier to authenticate with Facebook/Instagram accounts that you've added as testers to your app.
