Congratulations from a fellow MVP newbie, sorry you were feeling so anxious, i was at times a bit overwhelmed too being among my umbraco heroes while going solo. I did find everyone to be extremely welcoming once I forced myself to approach them and say Hi. A big well done from me 😄 🤗

I totally relate to this, I am lucky to have been a few times now have friendly faces I can seek out but even then I still have times throughout the conference where it's hard. You should be proud of doing this and going. it's so hard when you're there on your own but do know if you do go again next year there will be familiar faces and you will make new ones too and if you see me, ask me anything about anything (I like cycling too - I'll talk about my bike or the tour de france all day). So many of us are introverts, you're not alone - #H5YR

Thanks a lot. Sometimes I look around and it looks as though everyone is friends with eachother and I'm on my own, but that's obviously not true at all. Maybe next time I'll find some courage to approach you 😊

My first CG I luckily had a few people joining me but still felt very weird talking to my heroes as well. Turns out: they're all really lovely people.
