Hi there, I'm working on an Umbraco for in the education sector, and I'm trying to create a proof of concept for moving the data for the course pages outside of the tree route (it's currently buried and hard to access) Bit of a fragmented question, but once I've built the new Course Library would best practice be to still have individual course pages in the tree that pick from the library outside the tree so it looks the same to content editors? Or create all the course pages programmatically from a 'View all courses' page (i.e the pages don't actually exist in tree, but if search /view-all-courses/web-development you'll get severed the expected page)? Hopefully that makes sense! Not actually too sure if the second option exists, would be interested to hear any thoughts! Thanks, Simon

Not exactly an answer to your question, but we talked about this at CODECABIN and there's a related RFC out. Multi-sites and shared content section on https://joe.gl/ombek/blog/codecabin-23/ RFC: https://github.com/umbraco/rfcs/blob/0025-reusable-content-with-global-blocks-2/cms/0025-reusable-content-with-global-blocks.md You could definitely do #2 with any number of the https://docs.umbraco.com/umbraco-cms/implementation/custom-routing options

Thanks for this Joe, appreciate it! I'll look a little more into custom routing. Both the CODECABIN and the RFC that came out of it look really interesting - the majority of Umbracos' I've worked on have had a library of some description added on, so having something out of the box would be really welcome
Incidentally just seen you work at Bump Digital - I work for QMU funnily enough so may cross paths at some point!
