I am having an issue migrating umbraco v7 sites to v8 I have migrated the database and I seem not to find any documentation on what to do with the umbraco packages and the assemblies that are failing anyone know how we should go about this one.? I am trying copying all the files except the "bin" and "Config" folders

What kind of packages? If they package is not available for v8 or higher then you need to convert the data.
