I have used the same setup for changing cultures for years but it doesnt work anymore. VariationContext is correct and publishedcontent gets correct culture, but debugging shows wrong culture and GetDictionaryValue returns wrong culture. The controllers have no Attributes or OnAction and the site have no custom routings etc. Could it be related to cultures and hostnames? The site has "/" as Swedish culture and "/en" as english? I've only ever seen

en-US

as a "default when can't resolve" so that's likely what's happening, not Culture & Hostnames resolving to "English" because of configuration. Beyond that I have no idea. We do what you do, maybe not with partial actions/views but the rest.
