Hey folks. Got a client who swears blind they didn't delete a folder full of media, but it ended up in the recycle bin. I tried to replicate it in staging, to see if there are any random key combos or shortcuts that might have done it, but even so it shows up with a dialog to confirm. Anyone else see that sort of thing happen? I'm convinced the client somehow deleted the folder, but can't prove it When I replicated deleting a folder in test it doesn't log that info anyway (but surprised at that) just a weird one

If it has happened on multiple occasions, maybe set up a bit of extra logging on your own on the media trashed event. Anyways, what we've have seen a few times across different clients is when they select items in the list, they click Actions and then Delete in the action menu instead of clicking the Delete button in the blue bar. So they end up deleting/trashing the entire folder instead of just the selected items. Honestly think it's a problem with the chair-keyboard interface 😅 But to be safe, perhaps good to check if any tasks are running that delete stuff?
