We have a client we are migrating from U8 to U13. It seems the most recent builds of Vendr do not work on U13, and it's not clear if the Vendr license would transfer over to Umbraco Commerce? Does anyone have any insight here?

Hi Chad This is the information we recieved, when we asked into this, after Umbraco’s acquisition of Vendr last year. For partners it’s possible to convert an existing Vendr license to an Umbraco Commerce license for DKK 18.000, which is valid to december 31st 2025. After january 1st 2026 the client will be transfered to a ‘regular’ Umbraco Commerce license. This offer was valid to the end of 2023. But contact Umbraco HQ, and see if the offer is still valid, they are usually very flexible about these things.

Seems ... odd that the latest release of Vendr - which is still listed in P1 in the marketplace when I looked.. doesnt't actually work. Fails to boot after I install it....

Well you can also upgrade in that period, so that’s 30 months of upgrades (since the acquisition). As far as I remember, you would’ve had to pay Vendr about the same for upgrade licenses for the same period 🤷🏼‍♂️
