Umbraco Cloud - Log into multiple sites simultaneo...

I am working on multiple Umbraco Cloud sites simultaneously and need the backoffices open side by side for comparison. If I log into one using my cloud ID it kicks me out of the other. Is my only option to create some unique User IDs for each or is there a clever way to get around this?

works for me 🤷‍♂️ two v13 sites happily editing side-by-side if it really is an auth problem then using 2 different browsers should do the trick, or 2 different browsser profiles.. but as I said, I don't have this problem maybe you're being timed out?
n
Two different broswers / one of them in Incognito/private browsing works best IMO
If they are the same brwoser instance I find the cookies override each other cause the other one to sign out
(Cor, that was some bad spelling by me 😂 )

It's definitely kicking me out instantly so I think @Nik may be right. I can use separate browser profiles as you suggest @Sebastiaan. Perhaps for longer term I may create unique account just for testing purposes.

different logins won't help with cookies overwriting each other.. but which umbraco version are you using? I am not seeing this at all. maybe this happens in v8 though
n
This happens for me with v13 sites all the time
d
This is 10.8.6 but I have seen this in V13 as well.
s
with umbracoId or "regular" logins?
d
Umbraco ID - But now you mention it I think also regular users too
s
Strange! I know it's easy for cookies to get mixed up when used on the same domain name (umbraco.io for example but.. I just can't repro).
d
Right now it's 10.8.6 using Umbraco ID running both sites off localhost. But I'll try separate browser profiles tommorow.
s
ah..I haven't tried localhost, was on the live sites
d
I probably should have mentioned that right at the start of my thread… doh!

all good! I guess because I'm using the Cloud subdomains (alias.euwest01.umbraco.io and alias2.euwest01.umbraco.io) the cookies are specific to those subdomains so it all works. you can't avoid it by using a different login in the same browser for localhost, the cookie is being set for your whole localhost - different browsers / broswer profiles is probably your best bet

This happens on Local Host because there's no distinction on port numbers... I'm just a FED so I'm not going to add any further comment to how stupid this is. XD
