Media Node property missing on both webhook and Co...

I have a similar problem as described on Our Umbraco forum (https://our.umbraco.com/forum/using-umbraco-and-getting-started/113951-custom-properties-on-media-items-missing-in-content-delivery-api-response), unfortunately there is no solution there.
In short, I added a new property called AltText to my Image Node. The problem is that my property is not present in either Content API nor Webhook payloads.
What am I missing?

11/29/2024, 4:37 PMI've dug into the Umbraco source code. Is there a specific reason why there's an explicit decision to not include additional properties added to a media node?
