The only error I get is the error icon appearing on the save and publish button and the content not being saved and published. I don't think I have any required fields that need to be filled. I have looked in the umbraco logs and did not find an error pertaining to this. Any console/network/umbraco log errors?

A name is required to publish an item, but seems like a bug that its not showing you a validation message
