Claude Code has been driving me crazy with some design implementations so I hooked it up to Figma's MCP server which worked to a degree but… it struggled with the Shadow DOM for back office work. So I used an intermediary Figma plug-in that can extract the page into Figma as it is in the browser ignoring the Shadow DOM. I used the browser extension version I've been using for years but it also has an MCP endpoint. I just tested it out by making a few changes and Claude could see exactly what I've done and knew exactly how it matched up from the code side.
