Yeah - I do something similar with my builds, but theres some oddities and quirks with he RTE in older builds that plonks items in the root.

corrected now? or a github issue required? To be fair creating datatypes in the context of doctypes bypasses any folder considerations too!

hahah - exactly 🙂 - I think its corrected now. It might have been a v8/v10 thing, where the user could upload an image via the RTE and it would bypass any restrictions.. I can remember wondering how/why clients were able to upload rogue files into the root

maybe the bulk uploader too?
