Is there a way to see the rules of this bot? I'm all for inclusive language, but feels unfair to ask people to play by the rules if we don't know the rules. Education is key.

Very good point @leekelleher ! Perhaps an extra section in the “Welcome” message explaining the inclusive language preferred. One for @Sebastiaan to consider when he’s back from holidays I imagine

@leekelleher Thanks for the feedback! I wish I could open up the bot behavior but it's a third-party plugin and won't allow me. I added an explanation in the Welcome channel (it only nudges you for the word "guys") and added 'instead of "guys"' to the bot messages. Hope that helps!

Thanks @Sebastiaan, totally understand about it being third-party. 👍 Personally, I'm not a fan of this style of language policing. (Mostly because I've been caught out by similar, not on this Discord, and felt quite awkward about it.) But I understand the rationale and efforts behind introducing it.
