Me personally? No, but if I ask a client what browser they are running and some support figure on their side changed the User-Agent for some forsaken reason and your client thus gives you the wring browser info, then it doesn't work either. Not sure why @User needed to know it, but going through help->about is generally a better idea 🙂

Have you checked you're using the latest drivers in the Driver Manager? I use Mint Cinnamon, it's UI is much closer to Windows 7/10 and it provides the proprietary drivers by default that Ubuntu doesn't. It's Ubuntu/Debian underneath. I don't get on with Ubuntu's UI, lol

Btw, the device manager will already have the drivers onboard, it doesn't download them on demand.

I'm planning to be live streaming in the voice channel at lunch time in about 90 mins. I want to try and convert my v8 membership code to v9. I would appreciate any help if people have time to join or just want to watch me struggle. 😄

@User One thing that has been on my mind is the TAP and TUN interfaces that a VPN provider would create. Perhaps ubuntu is trying to connect to the internet using those interfaces so removing them might fix it? Its a shot in the dark but maybe you might be able to find something on Google around those queries.
